12/19 Skyline 14M Outlaw & 13M Waroo

Postby Kenny » Fri Dec 19, 2008 5:37 pm

Carpooled down with Jake, we arrived to a windblown surface with powder in pockets and mid teens for wind around 9 AM with clear skies. The wind continued to pickup and I downsized to a 13M Waroo. The wind continued to pick up and the clouds rolled in. The wind became stronger and more gusty. Most riders called it quits around 2. A couple stuck around with small kites.

Jake and I hit the storm around N. Orem, so our commute wasn't too bad.

Thanks John L. for lending me a kite leash.

No problem kenny. Glad I had it in the box.
Fun to try out the new twisted board. Probably looked funny out there falling on my ars all the time.
Boy was it a slow drive once hitting the storm. Hope it hits strawberry with a good dump. Can't wait to ride there.

The wind was switchy but fun to ride with everyone.

Here the new Strawberry Cam. It's located by Strawberry River which it looks like.

It's look like Strawberry is getting good cover. Some bushes sticking out.
