That right guys they are sailing and kiting in water down here, not the frooze stuff. First day was good but the locals would not go past the sand bar which is about 150 yards out because of large sharks seen in the area that morning. At first I thought they were joking but they were not. I did not let that stop me and had a great reach in large swell until my boom slipped. Turned around and made it to the sand bar and the boom head line broke. Lucky me, I had some rope and got in. The next day stayed on the inside and sailed the flat water. No sharks. Today would have been good (7.5 again) but I missed it. I hoping for more wind and praying for waves. Don't freeze to death guys spring is coming, only 3 more months with any luck. Merry Christmas!
