12-27 Skyline 8m Access

Postby DanHasleton » Sat Dec 27, 2008 10:42 pm

When the Fairview update that Kenny posted arrived on my phone, I immediately packed and headed down to Skyline. This being my second session actually kiting around, I was quite happy to reach the top of Bosco hill for the first time. Unfortunately being new at this I'm not a good judge of actual wind speeds. At the launch area the winds were quite light, but up on Bosco I actually trimmed my kite all the way down to slow me a bit. Snow cover is quite good, a few small bushes here and there poking through on the wind blown hill, but other than that, a few feet deep everywhere else.
