1/9 Strwb Chicken Creek

Sal and I got there around 1:30. I was on my 11m foil and it was a bit light at times but not to bad. The snow was not real good with brush showing through in areas and ice showing through on the Res. If you looked you could find some powder areas. We did a downwinder past the ladders to the next parking lot on the hill. The snow was pretty good near the edge of the east side were it had all blown to. Saw about 8 other kites in the air.

Another good day at Strawberry. Wind slowly backed off all day. Could be the last front for a while. :(
About 8 kites at Chicken Creek and Coop. Soft powder was hard to find, but lots of windblown, ridable snow, still a few bushes, but decent coverage, hope it doesn't melt down with this Hi pressure. Glad you guys got a good downwinder in, looked a little icy out on the reservoir. Whit G
