I saw the Powder Mt wind meter on the Utah Meso both days. It showed 5 mph higher since the meter is on top of the Hidden lake. I decided to drive up since it wasn't blowing anywhere else except the 2 hrs drive to Skyline. I saw Ken by the Pineview Dam teaching someone today. Both day the temp. was in the 20s. Rode from Hidden Lake parking lot to Sunrise ridge, out to White Pine and back to the parking lot. There still plenty of powder out there except on top of the ridge. White Pine was fun to ride at with rollings hills, smooth wind and open space. There were several snowkiters out today and two guys from HQ kite. They rode out to White Pine. We didn't need to call the ski patrol or the Snowcat to come and pick us up out there. What a epic day both days was.

Anything with a south or west component to it will work. We also were kiting on a north last week but it restricts you to a small area. I have also kited the rare east wind there before and it was fine.
