amazing untracked powder testerday at strawberry river. the kiters made the first and mostly all the tracks. the wind was fairly consitent all afternoon. I could have used a few more knots just to help pull me through the powder but if you worked the kite you still got good rides. About 2 to 3 other kites in the air. Kenny showed up for the sunset session and got some good glides in on the silver arrow. hoping for even better wind today! has anyone been down to the cabins/big hilly area east of the ladders before the plateau? I'm wondering what the coverage is like down there. that's got to be the most fun terrain i've been on but before this last storm there was still too much scrub showing

Hey Dave, i drove by the cabins area yesterday, a lot of shrubs still sticking up, but as long as you don't drop your kite in them, it looked rideable and there may be better coverage away from the lot.

Coverage is so much better at Strawberry River than at the cabins.

Yesterday, the pow was so good. I was well powered on the Silver Arrow.
