My first time out on Utah lake was beyond all expectations. I got a kitchen pass at 1:45 and boogied down to Saratoga because a) wind at Sulfur looked iffy and b) warmer water.
When I arrived at 2:45 there were two sailers out on small sails and lots of sub 5.0 gear on the lawn. It didn't look terribly windy though so I chose a 5.9, which turned out to be perfect as the wind was backing off. The sailing was the best I've ever experienced in Utah. Perfect steady wind and lots of chop and waves. The port direction ramps are challenging to me, but I found some starboard jumps too. Too much fun.
