I was heading toward Provo Boat Harbor and it didn't look too promising. Then got a call and re-directed (merci to Carl for the up to the minute forecast) to check Deer Creek as some planing sailors were spotted on the DC island cam. I arrived to a full lake, empty parking lot and good wind. The drive up Provo canyon is a little quicker with the construction being done. Sarah and Linda had the whole lake to themselves. Despite this, a boater had a near hit. It was a good opener for me. Tweaked some equipment and had a good session. Love the lake at capacity, no walk to speak of. The temps were fine with neoprene and booties. Just don't miss the jibes or the water rushes up the suit. The season begins.

Looks like it blew at Provo Boat Harbor too, but not until 7 or so.
