5-12 the wait was worth it ULLB

After watching so many kiters pump up( like almost 20 kites sitting on the beach) and then give up and leave ULLB around 630 the wind turned on around 7 and we all went out and rode lit up big kites, everything from 12 to 17 up in the air, lots of fun, it was still howling when we left for 99 cent taco night. If you waited it out it paid off! If you went home we laughed about you while riding or eating tacos!

Wish you all could have been there! Oh wait most of you were at some point..........

He he Ut lake!!!

The wait was well worth it. Forgot my wetsuit so I kited with just just board shorts and a tee shirt and I wasn't even cold at all for the majority of the session. Then I got wet. As Billy said it was taco tuesday at Del Taco. We ate 35 tacos. No more, no less! Maybe the frustration of driving and catching good wind will weed some of naysayers out and the we'll have the butter to ourselves!

WHATDAYAMEAN missed it. I got to rearrange my schedule, leave work early, drive to ULLB, pump up kites, drag boards to the water, get into wet suit, get out of wet suit, drag boards back to car, deflate kites, and hurry to Provo in time to watch American Idols and eat mac and cheese with my grandkids.
