5/12/09 Pelican Beach UL 6.7 109 liters

Spent the afternoon with a crowd of anxous windsurfers waiting for the north wind to push through... lucky to get one good reach on a 6.7, but that was it... looks like it came in after dark.
Sailed Sulfur on Monday with Ken O., 5.7 for me, 6.0 for Ken, up and down as usual, but overall a nice afternoon. Ken says the water temperature was 41. The good news is the snow is off the banks. Nice to be on a smaller sail, but still a little chilly. At least I had a dry suit, Ken gutted it out in a wet suit, and he didn't even get cold!

Yes that was quite a beach party. I haven't seen that many hopefulls out in a long time. John you were the HERO ride of the day, and got everyone to run and acramble for their gear. I think we left just after 6pm, and as we headed N there did seem to be more wind, and it sounds like it finally made it to the lake.
