5/16 Barbwire Beach 13m

Postby Ralph Morrison » Sat May 16, 2009 7:09 pm

A bitchin' day at Barbwire Beach. A slow start turned into a decent afternoon. Marty made the 70 mile drive from Bountiful. Craig got his birthday wish. Spencer showed up late as usual but got a good session. Mike Hill got out for his first day on water. Jim Southwick sailed up from the Charleston launch to pay us a visit. I did some proselytizing by riding just upwind from him, saying to come over to the dark side. Jon M. left before the wind came up to go mow his lawn or was it to watch American Idol re-runs?

OMG Ralph, that is the funniest thing in a long time,

You sacrificed a day in Maui to watch Idol so I could kite.
and now you did it again today
Jon you are my IDOL,,,,

I actually stayed in Mt, Pleasant friday night, and stopped on my way home, 74 miles

Glad to help ya all. Better get ready for a killer session this coming TUES as it's finals night for the idols. I'll be watching. Marty wants me to get a TIVO, so you better get it while you can. I may have to watch later and kite now. The lawn can wait.

Big T,
You're right and I almost agree, but since IDOLS is just ending, isn't it more like NINE LONG MONTHS, till it starts up again?
Any way by then I'll have a TIVO and we won't miss a thing.

Ralph, gorgeous photos! I particularly like the last one. Can't believe you took time out from all the fun to capture (and load) it for us. Thank you!

Jealous as well. My fear is that Todd might beat me onto the water!
