Gorge 7/3-7/11 13m-7m

Awesome trip for my 20th anniversary of going to the Gorge. Saw several Utards and did lots of kiting with John Guay. Sorry I missed his North Shore All Stars reunion at the River City Saloon. I'm sure it was a good show but I had to get back to work. Saturday was a major blowout with full on 7m-5m conditions and huge swell. Did lots of upwinders to the Hatchery and Cheap Beach, my old haunt. Pretty awesome to have the place to myself on my 11m/surfboard combo. Really love riding the surfboard in good swell. Also had a great session at secret spot, kiting upwind to Doug's. The coast was not happening during my trip but that's ok. Sure glad I picked up that new 11m Ozone Sport +. That kite is totally sweet and was my staple kite for the trip. Only one day of no wind. I'll be back!
