It had just gone north when I got there at 6:30 so I almost turned around and went home. Glad I didn’t as it flipped back around to the south fairly fast. Hit the water at 7:30 on the 7.0. By 8:30 I had to rig the fast little S-type just to stay on the 7.0. By 9:30 I was on the 6.0 and the 85L Sonic. When it went to 5.0 and gusting to 30 conditions at 10:30 I didn’t have it in me to rig any more gear so I just held on to the 6.0 and let the Sonic scream across the lake. I finally quit a little after 11:00 totally pooped. The only breaks were to rerig and to lie in the water between the fishermen to try and cool down. It was the 1st session in a while that I never went down (Some sessions I feel like it is my destiny to provide lots of laughs for John and Dimitri). A spectacular sesh.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.

A ps. to my own log. I have never seen so many grasshoppers and so many gulls. I laid the sails in the grass to dry and they were covered with grass hoppers. On the plus side, the Stansbury mountains are drop dead gorgeous with all the extra green on them.

you are the Gville king. sounds like tons of fishermen everytime folks post. guess it's best to give a wide berth so they don't start throwing rocks and stuff. ask me how I know.
