Maximum downhaul and outhaul. It seemed like lots of wind, but I figure better to be overpowered than under. Hit the water at 5 PM. Just me and a couple of jet skis. They called me Skippy. Skipping over the water? or skipper or something? Anyways they were nice enough. 90% plane till 6:30 then the wind dropped off. Short session, but the best sailing yet for me. Thank you Sarah for the chop pointers last Monday. More weight on the harness (less feet), bare off or turn upwind to avoid the big sets and lift the knees like you do on the whoops skiing. Not perfected, but its already made a big difference. I didn’t get bounced nearly as much and port tacks are much nicer now. Jorgon and Jim showed up, but the wind was only a tease by then.
