7/27 DCBB then Rockport 13m

Postby Ralph Morrison » Mon Jul 27, 2009 6:28 pm

Went for the daily double. Caught the tail end of the wind at Deer Creek then on the way home the wind switched to northwest so I headed to Rockport. I don't think they see many (or any) kites at Rockport. I was definitly an oddity. Strong wind but gusty. It felt great to break the drought though.

Congratulations on catching a session at DC yesterday; the wind was pretty chaotic (as it often is when it's getting ready to shift to the North.) I got in two reaches and one jibe.

ULLB kicked in late and light. People were riding 13m to 17m and big boards from 7 to 8:30.
