Typical of east coast summer weather created good wind conditions. When storms come from the south or the west, it generally create 25+ mph, with gust up to 45 mph. Since I only have my 144L Futura with me, that's what I had to use in this type of condition. Imagine flying over 4 to 6 feet swells with a 144L board and 5.5 sail in condition that is better fit with 97L board and 4.5 sail. . . I didn't even crash once, well, didn't crash too badly anyway.

I sailed from 12 to 4 p.m.

It was a good trip.

Back to Utah next week.
