I hit 3 rainstorms before I even got to Saltair then it rained hard at the lake for a full hour (NOAA’s after-noon rainstorm!). I almost went back home. But I was I was upset that I had to miss some great wind Saturday morning so I was determined to sail. It was good that I stayed. By 9:30 I was on the 7.0 in gorgeous sunshine and by 10:30 it was ragged-edge 6.0 conditions. Unlike the 2 sessions last week, the bombed out body from the Gorge trip seems to be recovering. It was fun to be pain free and ripping again. The clouds didn’t come back until 1:00 and even after that the wind just kept on ripping. I finally quit at 2:00 totally exhausted. Lunch was 2 pre-emptive Ibuprofen at 11:00. It was up and down with extreme gusts but a great time. Gary showed up from Sulfur at 2:30 and was planed up nice when I left.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
