There's always a chance at DC

Indeed there is, but it's often fleeting, as it was today. Hints of wind beginning at about 11. Starting to get interesting around noon. Fairly steady 6.6 conditions from 12:30 or so til about 1:15, by which time it was starting to back off noticeably. DaveO joined in the fun with a 7.0, and there was at least one kiter at Barbed Wire Beach (Ralph, I think?)
