8/27 DCBB - 16m Waroo, big board

This is my first time at Deer Creek. Got to the east side first and couldn't see where to launch. Drove all the way to the dam without finding a spot. Came back to the east side in time to see Peter's kite up. Found my way over the fence and thru the weeds to where he was. There wasn't enough wind yet (about 4pm) so Peter put his kite back down and showed me how to find my way to the water once the kite is up thru the bushes. The wind came up enough around 4:30 so Peter went out and I went back and got my stuff. Had a great time in light wind for about an hour.
