Started riding about 5:45 - Rode until almost 7:30 fully powered - could have rode a 12m. Should have been there an hour before to get more. It was kind of wind shadowed on the field so I drift launched a few hundred feet north of where we usually put in - it wasn't shadowed there. I had the whole lake to myself - only 1 boat and 1 sailboard - Jim I presume. Like Jim said in his post - everything was reversed - kind of weird. Rode to Charleston launch and back, plenty of power and relatively little gust for DC. I think the best place to launch for the North might be at the point at the end of the tree line - there doesn't seem to be a wind shadow up there. Good session - and only a 3 minute commute each way.
