I got there about 4 pm to almost no wind. A couple kiters barely getting their 16s to fly. It started to come in about 4:15 so I rigged a 7. By the time I got on the water it was ripping!

18-25 with nice swell. I held onto the 7.0 for 3 hours. Big jumps and nice turns. I should have rigged down to a 6.0, but it wasn't too bad and I planed the ENTIRE time.

Raced a couple jet skis. Clocked about 35 mph.

Brad and Rod showed up for the last hour.

My hands feel like a day at the Gorge. Ripped blisters and worn out skin. YES! You gotta love Utah lake on a big day.

However, it sounds like I should have made the trip to MM19 for some small sail action! I also felt like an old geezer with all of the kites at Lindon. There must have been at least 15 of them out. Man they get BIG AIR!

I was on that jet ski and couldn't keep up with the friggin' windsurfer! I had it pegged. It was only a 600cc or so though... :) The wind was great and the waves were HUGE. Helped pull a fellow kiter out of some trouble down around the corner-- he had the wrong board and couldn't get back up wind and into the beach.
