A fantastic solo surprise after work. I had pretty much written off kiting today, but I saw slightcaps on livelakeview.com and rolled up with my road bike in the car, ready to ride my bike...or not! Whitecaps everywhere. It was up and down for sure, but "down" was still rideable, and "up" was well powered. Fish were jumping everywhere when I got onto the water at 4pm. I got out just in time at 5:50 and dropped my kite onto the lawn with the lines in about 2 or 3 bushes. Funny stuff. Special thanks to whoever put the huge rock on the edge of the lawn, it made self launching a little less daunting.

It's almost time for gloves. My only thought for why the wind was stonger is that is was pretty cold last night. Deer Creek was fogged in this am, but last time that happened, there was almost no wind. Very strange place we live in.

Lovin it! Hope to see you with wind tomorrow.

Just as Craig predicted, the poleboard session at SBB was late and brief (but fun) on a largeish board and 7.5m sail. One Laser, no powerboats. I agree with Chris about the glove question - almost.
