Left early to have some time for pre-session equipment maintenance, but cresting the dam at 1:00 I saw lots of wind. Jim was out flying around. I had to watch so rigging was slow. Got some great rides for a time, but it didn’t last very long. Still, at least its not a skunk.

Sundance was in double figures stating at 2:45 AM, but the SW wind didn't make it to Charleston until about 12:10; go figure. Lots of caps, lots of holes when I arrived at about 12:30, but had filled in quite well by the time I got on the water (about 1). Gusting as high as 32mph. I was pretty well maxed on a 6.6 and was amazed that Shawn was able to hold down his 7.5. Josh arrived about 2 as the wind was beginning to get a bit squirrely.
