Deer Creek BB Delivers 17 Oct 12,14,16m

So I went for a MTB ride at 3:00 pretty sure that there would be no wind. And at 2:45 DC was glass. While I was rding I felt some wind, but just figured it was aloft and kept going. Got home at about 4 and look at livelake view. Slightcaps - Hmmm worth a look. So my car was toatlly loaded and ready to go. I showed up and John from Provo was rigging his 16. I self launched the 14. We ralleyed well powered for 45 minutes or so, and then Spencer showed up on a 12. All of us did just fine. It was super wasy to stay upwind and I stayed well powered until the sun went down. Let's hope tomorrow delivers as well!

A short but sweet session! 9.5m sail for this 60kg sailor, so the wind obviously wasn't real strong. Better and considerably earlier (peak about 5 vs. 7) than yesterday.

Awesome session on my new LF 16M! I can't believe Chris, Spencer, and I were the only ones that showed up. The air temp was nice and warm, the water temp was quite pleasant, and the wind was nice and smooth. I was well powered on the 16 and even had it dialed in a bit when I first went out. I rode for a good two hours, right up through the sunset. Chris and Spencer inspired me enough with their aerial maneuvers that I had to try a few myself - nothing more than a couple feet off the water, but quite a thrill nonetheless. :))) Good times!!

Jim, is this you? I shot this around 5 p.m. today. I thought the condition is good for 7.5 meters.

Nice picture, Leo! What a gorgeous day! Yes, that has to be me; I was the only poleboarder out there.

12m waroo - great hour session - it was suprisingly warm out there. Mid October and it was shorts and t-shirt weather. The water felt comfortable in 3/2 full.
