Once again Craig nailed it.

On the water 5-7pm I was on a plane constantly except once when I hit a whale... or maybe a very large carp. After a strong thump and subsequent spin out/crash I was sure the fin was toast. Of course it had to happen way out in the middle. :oo Thankfully the fin was still there. Just doing my part to fix the carp problem I suppose. I enjoyed the huge lake all to myself until the level of the sun and fatigue told me it was time to get out. 3/2 was plenty warm thanks to the water temp and my super natural warming ability… or could be the winter fat. :^^ I did start to feel a little chill during the tear down once the exercise was over. All in all a great way to kick off my 2nd poleboard season.

DC was pretty good today, too, with SW (yes, that's correct, SW) wind starting up about 11:30. A bit cooler (high 52) and windier (peak gust 28mph) than yesterday.
