I must have just missed you Carl.

12:00-1:30 Was pretty brutal. It looked 6 ish, but in the past It seemed that DC would come down a bit from the initial push, so I rigged 7.0 122L. Oops, the wind actually seemed to be increasing! rig big is not looking like such a good idea anymore. Full pucker reaches with rest stops on each side of the lake. At least the gusts were sustained for more than a few seconds and lulls didn’t leave you with nothing. Had some fun and built up confidence. But at some point I just could not hold the 7.0 down any longer so I packed it in. Sounds Like I should have taken a break and waited it out. It figures. Next time I guess. Oh and though my toes stayed nice and cozy, the finger tips went numb pretty much every trip across the lake. Maybe I should not squeeze the boom so hard when I am holding on for dear life.
