5/24 UL Pelican Point 6.2/106

We arrived about 1:30 to pretty good wind, and thought about the mid 5's but it soon backed down, so we rigged 6's. On the water @ 2:30, I started out on my big board, but quickly knew that a smaller board would work well. From then on it was mostly powered up sailing for everyone, with very few lulls. Temps were a bit cold, and I think most had to put on gloves, I know I did. We came off of the water just before 5, as a big lull was setting in. John just rigged bigger and went back out. He and Jim were still out shredding when we headed for home. Over all a really fun afternoon of sailing.

Great day on the water. Went with the 5.8 and got a few rides but had to work very hard for them switch to the 6.9 and was powered to over powered. The wind picked up around 5:30-6 and I went back out on the 5.8. Made it pass the point and the wind died. Uphauled and almost made it back pass the point but fell. Went for a quick swim and it was blowing east south east when I got in. :oo
