Arrived at 7:45 just in time to see Ken hit the water on a 7.0, looked like it was picking up, so Mike and I rigged small (5.7's). Pretty soon we figured Ken had it dialed in so we rigged back up to a 6.5. Ken ended up with the best morning session, however as the day wore on, the 6.0, 5.7, and finally a 4.7 was the call. One of the more gustier days at Grants, however from about noon on, we ripped around on the 4.7's / 85 liter (Ken alternating on a 6.0 5.5 4.7). And believe it or not, the afternoon turned out to be the better session. A really fun day at Grants... except for the fact that Ken kept blowing by me as if I was standing still. Left at 4:00, still windy.
