7/12 ULSSB Skunk

Postby Kenny » Tue Jul 13, 2010 11:12 am

I am not naming names, but there was a good number of us hanging around. Wind was up and then died. Direction shifted to the dreaded NE direction at Bluffdale. It was nice and warm.

I got a few nasty bites across my back right above the line of my boardshorts - I don't think it was a mosquito. The bites itch like crazy.

There were a number of us at Lincoln as well. When I left I decided to drive around the point and explore (I had never followed the road past the Jetty). After rounding the corner I saw a road-killed skunk facing the water and figured that maybe the Gods honored its sacrifice and made sure that no wind blew so the word "skunk" would be on all of our minds. Maybe next time I am in the area I will try to road-kill a nuke or something.
