Snow, so much snow that we struggled to even setup the kite. The parking lot was full of snow. Another kiter with Wyoming plates was stuck in the parking lot. He worked on trying to get out, but after an hour bagged it and went kiting. Snow was thigh deep in the parking lot. The wind was blowing 20 - 30 mph and the snow drifts were challenging in places. I found some nice lee areas to ride and spent most of my time making powder turns. Answered the questions - Can you have too much powder? Yes, when the drifts are so deep it is tough not to auger in. Can you have too much wind? Yes, when the wind blows the snow into nasty drifts.

I got there at 830 and rode from the ranger station in till around 1130 on 11m edge with plenty of power! I loved the snow and the wind.. As just a side not the ranger station is one of the first lots plowed, but has crappy wind that swirls all around..
