No wind at the river or CC E, pull up to the view area to see 30 kites in the sky. Wind was a solid 15 - 20 mph out of the west while I was there in the late afternoon. Managed to bungle the takeoff on a glide. Crashed and burned landing on a hard spot bruising a rib and a knee which cut my session short. Snow was in excellent condition and everyone was having a great time.
