01/17 Skyline 11m

The parking is under 2 feet of snow, but plenty of shoulder to use. Skyline is such a majestic spot when the cloud base is around 11000. I was in awe watching the clouds go bye just out of reach. The wind was cranking, but I was the only one there for an hour or so and chose not to rig. I'm not confident enough to make the weather call, or be the only one out. The snow was packed, but soft, a perfectly groomed base. (at least on skis) Then 3 kiters pulled up and went for it, so I did too. Nicely powered, but the south wind rotor off the ridges made things quite gusty and at times very strong. Still it was nice to get winded if even for a short session. Love skyline, Thank you Windzup!
