Beach weather was around 75 degrees yesterday. When I arrived at the beach, the wind was about 1/2 mile off-shore - perfectly calm at the beach. I went on a long walk to the Redondo pier. Wind came in when I got to the pier, so I hustled back and launched my kite. Conditions were light, but ideal. Ideal in the fact that I had the break to myself, no surfers or swimmers and enough wind that I was well powered the whole time. Had a fantastic time riding 4 to 6 foot faces. The sets were well-spaced which was good because the 21M is no quick turner. No rinse cycles for me, just lots of fun riding faces and escaping closeouts with the power of the kite. Saw a couple pilot whales. Rode until sunset.

Chris,

I have a split board that I use for traveling. It is 138 x 40.
