1/16 Strawberry, CC east, slush fest

I think I can call is a slush fest and we all wish we can have the temperature be a few degree colder. My legs told me to give up after 1.5 hours. . . Spring in winter. . . weird. Jason, Ralph Linda and a few others were there to taste the slush. There were a mad house in viewpoint area. I'll let them tell us how great it was out there. . .

It was awesome! Got there before the crowd of 30 or so out of towners. Anyway they mostly stayed in a small area near the lake. I was through riding by the time it turned to slush.

Headed east into the white room at The Cabins in the am. Good wind, good snow, terrible visibility. Still rode for a good couple hours with Billy and Ryan. Stopped at the view lot around 2:30 on my way out. So many kites in the air! I was warned about the sticky snow as I rigged and they were right. Super sticky but great wind and visibility made it worthwhile for another hour or so of riding.

I found out who the "out of towners" were at viewpoint:

It appears we're getting popular! :-)

I am glad they mentioned the place they went to was Park City. I would hate to have to fight for space at the viewpoint. Three observations:
1. Patrick got a lot of camo time. I think he should be expecting some groupies actions anytime soon now.
2. I'd like to give that reporter from Forbes some personal lesson.
3. Snowkiting is about calculated risk? Total BS. It is all about trying to have fun without paying lift ticket.
