Clear in the AM, then turned into a white out up top as the clouds hovered. We kited the parking lot that had a few feet of snow in it. The lot was like a wide shallow half pipe, with the flags on the road giving some visual texture. Snow piled in on the out-house, making for a nice ramp. You could hit the sh*tter and gap the lot landing on a powder snowbank.
After riding and waiting for the sun, we headed down to the lower area, below the clouds. Deep powder, clearing skies, and steady wind made for a great sunset session. Endless powder turns up and down the slope. Headed over the hill and followed the down-winder thru flat canyon. The wind seemed to funnel thru pretty well until dark, when I packed it in and caught a ride back.
Windzup,
