utah lake nuke fest 7m

went to utah lake yesterday with chris and jessica at about 1 pm to find the lake puking itself onto the shore. the wind was blowing harder than i think i have ever felt in ut. 45 to 60!!!!! it was cold and the skies looked dark and scary we decided that lunch was a better call than launch and headed out. After lunch we headed back to find an even more intimidating sky with now wispy tails and dragon scales.... jessica said she was done and headed home. me and chris decided to wait it out. About an hour later the skies broke and the sun came out, air temp now nearing 41 we decided it was time to kite!!! I pumped 7 and chris 9 and we headed out into the water! well i was well powered and chris was slightly overpowered rode for about an hour until our hands were numb from the cold!! overall it was worth the wait!
