Strawberry View area 15M 3/23

Killer day at the View area today. You can finally get in and out of the parking lot without much trouble now (not sure what happened to the snowplows there since Jan - maybe something to give the rangers a hard time about next time they check for people giving lessons since that's something they spend their hard earned fines on). Kites out from 12M to 17M. Occasional snow squalls moved in and out but overall the wind was great. The snow was super sticky (like the pole at . . nevermind) wherever the powder stashes were making wax a necessary evil. I had to re wax halfway through the day. Other than that though it was primo. Still plenty of snow. 7 people out including Fred, Marc Christensen, Todd, Derry, and a couple others that came as we were about done. Rode 5.5 hours with only one bout of windlessness lasting about 10 minutes or so.
