Kited 7 of 8 days, everything from lit 8m to 14m and big board. Managed to hurt myself pretty bad on the first day. Got slammed on a jump gone bad, knocked the wind out of me and came up with pretty painful ribs. Can you dislocate a rib? Pretty sure its not actually cracked, but it was really painful and i could hear/feel it "clicking" while kiting. Still pretty sore. Wierd. I made a pad out of some cut up flip flops and kited thru it - not gonna waste a trip to SPI just sitting on the beach. Kited the flats and the gulf. Had some really nice down-winders launching right out back of where we were staying, pulled out at the pavillion and then crossed the road for some flat water. Had a couple of cooler days in the middle of the week, high temp only around 70 and cloudy, and actually wore my 3/2 suit 2 days, otherwise bordies and rashguard. Nice trip!

Glad to hear you had solid wind! YES you can dislocate a rib. Kathy managed to dislocate her entire front left rib cage a few years back. You guys are tough though. You kited a week, and she race two world cups before having it all popped back in place.
