I am kind of late on this. I was planning on Grants but no go. The digital maps showed the further south the windier it would be so I decided to give Yuba a shot. It was only the 3rd time I have been there since we sold the HobieCat. I almost stopped at Mona but Yuba is only 20 minutes more actual driving time and seemed worth it for the extra wind. On the water a total of 3.5 hours having a great time. After Grants it is hard to get used having to wait for windlines. With the wind averaging 15 to 19 and the gusts in the 30’s, a very flat 7.0 and my 2 floatier boards were the perfect call. Yuba is back on my list now. What a great afternoon. Tom Whitke was camped out there and I was jealous.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
