Sudden arrival about 1 PM of SW wind gusting into the high 20s. Grim, overcast conditions at Chucktown launch, but the wind was howling and appeared to be, if anything, a bit steadier than usual. 6.0 proved to be way too much; 5.0 was manageable but plenty powered up. At least one kite (green) at BWB.

Billy and I were out for a bit on 8m and 11m kites. It was actually a good time because the lulls were strong enough to keep going, and the gusts were just fun for jumping. Lots of south in it. Then it got weird and we bailed.
Went to Lincoln next. I'll be drying my kite for 2 days, but I didn't kite there. Enough said.
