8 June DCBWB 13m - Trixie Says Hi

I got in the water at BWB a little before 2. Kevin had just launched 13 edge and things were good. Up and down sure, but good. I went pretty far upwind and then things shut down, but just as I got close to shore and Kevin headed out, it cranked up again. Then it was really good for a while with any lulls still letting me stay upwind on 13 and medium board. After about 2 hours of hucking myself around, I decided to head in. But then Trevor, Peter and some others showed up and I had a second wind. Wanted to go to Lincoln, but I was pretty much a rag doll when I finally got out of the water. Hopefully Lincoln goes off again tonight. I'll bring Bocce just in case.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch... (well, downwind at Chucktown, actually) Judy (5.5), George (6.6) and I (6.0) were enjoying Trixie's bounty on our poleboards.

yep, and my hands were a bit too full with my 12.5 at island beach. got a quick hour in before going home to babysit but it was definitely only half cocked. couldn't really see putting the hammer down with that much sail except in the lightest of the lulls.
