I've experienced one of the best day of kiting and one of the worst day of wind in Dewey Beach. The training at Deer Creek and Skyline paid off, big time! I was on the 13 meter Ozone Sport all day and the next biggest kite out was a 11. Wind was gusty up to 30 mph, with range between 15 to 25 mph. Some waves were as high as 4 feet. Jumping across two lips were possible, and I did. If not for the cold water/air temp (70's for both), I would have stayed until the sunset. I guess 5 hours of almost non-stop action wasn't bad. Thank you, Deer Creek!
