7/20 - Deer Creek BWB 11.5M

Rode from about 2:15 until 4:15 - great power on 11.5M Kahoona. Had the place to myself. I saw someone sailing at Charleston and someone else up at DC Island. No other kiters though. After 4pm it went to big kite - 16m wind - but i left.

I was the windsurfer at Charleston (from 2:30-3:30) on a 96L board and 6.6m sail. Not great, but it definitely had its moments. The lake is very full and the water is quite warm (67ºF in the shallows where I had my buoy) and starting to grow green slime (algae?)
