While there is a lot of snow 'across' Skyline, and the cornices have formed in one storm... the average depth of snow was 8 inches, with many rocks and bushes exposed. Not quite enough coverage for my prized rock board, so I flew kites in the SW wind in the parking lot. Nice to be back in the cold, but looking forward to a couple more storms like the last one to really open the place up.

It seems to be ATV conditions, rather than snowmobile conditions right now. Definitely pockets of snow covered grass, but you would have to walk past rocks to get there. A great start to what is sure to be another epic Utah winter.
