Rush - Dawn Patrol

Postby Kenny » Mon Jun 19, 2006 9:50 am

I thought the wind would be honking because it looked strong on the mesonet and was cranking at my house in Sandy. However, when I arrived there was a faint breeze out of the south at 6 AM and the lake level looked like it has fallen significantly since last Saturday

I launched my 17M Silver Arrow and I was overpowered after 20 minutes, so I dropped down to the 20M Waroo (The Silver Arrow generates more power because it is a flat foil). Rode powered up on glassy water for 2 hours. I don't know how much longer we will have Rush, but the riding is actually getting better if you are a fan of flat, buttery water. Wind should be good at Rush most of the day today.
