11/27 Malibu 16m kite big board

Not much wind in the forecast or at the beach but had to try it anyway. We were at Leo Carrillo State beach. I have been here many times over the years and this is the first time the wind was coming from the east instead of south west. (the beach runs east and west here) Anyway, despite the small wind (7-13), I pumped up the 16 and gave it try. I did a lot of side shore wind down winders and played on the small surf. It was a lot of fun and good wave riding training. Today is supposed to have winds up to 20 with much bigger surf. Could be interesting.
