It looked iffy with marginal coverage and crusty snow. On the positive side the winds were in a good direction ( mid teens SW) and I've kited in worse conditions. Kited for about 2 hours and it was surprisingly OK. There were even a few soft spots to carve. Not great but at this point it looks like the only game in town. Chris from Maui showed up and couldn't believe how good it was. I guess it shows how a different perspective changes things. Gonna give it a shot again today.
