Reading 19g27 when I got there so rigged the 6.0/86L and went ripping in misty, cold, sprinkling conditions. By then it was 23g31 and all of 44 degrees. When the mist stopped after an hour the wind backed off a little so I jumped on the 7.0 for some more wild rides. Then the rain drops came back and it was back to the 6.0. Quit at 11:30 when the sun came out and the wind backed off. Racing the little fighter-pilot birds all morning and, if I started to pass them, they would take a peck at the mast just like they peck each other. The fish eagles showed up too for more entertainment. Barely got derigged before a storm cell bore down on me and chased me all the way to I80. Hit rain again on the south end of I215. Cold all morning starting at 43 and only rising to 49 by the time I quit. Seemed more like March. Great sailing week.
