The wind came up about 1, but unfortunately, it was out of the N, rarely a good thing at DC. By 2 it had pretty much died, but then about 3 it started firing up again, this time out of the SSW. Waxed and waned (as usual) but provided some fun reaches when it was "on". Got a rare visit from a kiter (that was you, wasn't it, Billy?) First time I'd seen a foilboard in action. Awesome!! We don't often see kiters down at our end of the lake, and when we do, it's usually because the wind is dying, and they're having trouble going to windward. Not this time! After a brief pause to say hi, he went shooting back toward BWB, appearing to go straight upwind on both tacks (yes, I know that's not possible, but it sure looked like it!)
