10/20 UL Saratoga 6.5M 109L Yahoo!

Craig said to go to UL, said rig a 7.0... like a good soldier, I went to UL, rigged a 6.5m, 109L board... Craig you nailed it... On the water at 2:00 (just like Craig told me to...), good wind, and it just kept getting better and better and better and better and better and better and better (just like Craig said it would)... by the time I quit as the sun disappeared over the mountains, Mike E. and Josh were on 5.9's, we were all lit up like Xmas trees... having one of the better UL days I've had in a long time. Great, consistent wind the entire afternoon. What a blast! A couple of notes for Saratoga Springs surfers... the mud is awful, maybe stay near the rocky dike as you are going in and out, it's a little better but still not great. Use the fish cleaning station to wash off when you're done, as you'll be caked with mud from climbing out... the lake level is so low, you can touch anywhere ... I got knocked off my board twice, out in the middle by carp I'm assuming, and I could touch everywhere... and if you haven't driven down the west side of UL in the last little while, be prepared, development everywhere... not quite to Rocky Point, but almost there. BUT, in summary... Yahoo, what a killer afternoon! Thanks Craig!!!!!
